The statement further informed that the command has created a “tactical operation point“ (TOP) in all entry points of the state.
The statement reads: “Members of the public are by this release informed that such “Tactical Operation Point” should not be seen as the old fashioned/banned road blocks. As far as the command is concerned road block remain banned. 

“Given the twin bomb blast that occurred at kuje and Nyanya areas of FCT Abuja last night, and in line with the policing strategy of the leadership of Lagos State Police Command, the commissioner of police Lagos state command, CP Fatai Owoseni, wishes to inform the residents of Lagos not to panic, and go about their normal business without any fear.
“In this circumstance, measures have been placed to forestall the occurrence of such ugly incident here in Lagos”
