Zambia to face Egypt in Dubai

Zambia will face Egypt in a friendly on October 11 in Dubai.
The Football Association of Zambia said in a statement that six foreign-based players have been summoned for the friendly.
In-form striker Collins Mbesuma of Mpumalanga Black Aces is one of two PSL-based players excepted for the match.

Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene is the other player in a team that will include the TP Mazembe duo of Nathan Sinkala and captain Rainford Kalaba.
Midfielder Lubambo Musonda of Armenian club Gandzasar and defender Stopilla Sunzu of French Ligue 1 club Lille are also in the team.
Egyptian-based striker Ronald Kampamba of Wadi Degla has not been selected.
The rest of the team will comprise of home-based putting into consideration Zambia’s October 17 date at home against Mozambique in a 2016 CHAN final round, first leg qualifier at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Meanwhile, the home-based players will enter camp on October 4 in Lusaka.
This will be Zambia and Egypt’s first meeting since November 14, 2013 that The Pharaohs won 2-0 in Cairo.
The Egypt date will be coach George Lwandamina’s sixth match at the helm since taking charge in June in a period he has picked up one defeat, two draws and as many wins.
