There is still hope - Mathibe

Aubrey Mathibe{Ever-KInd}
Former AmaZulu goalkeeper Aubrey Mathibe, who is now back at Moroka Swallows, says The Birds' 4-0 defeat against AmaZulu will be forgotten and that Swallows will find it momentum again.
Mathibe admitted that the Under 23 rule in the national first division is a big challenge at the club as they have mostly older, experienced players.

“I am disappointed about the result and I must say that things are not easy. We must also remember that the coach is now building a new team as only a few players from last season remained. There is experience but unfortunately we need more than that at this point in time,” said Mathibe.
Mathibe went on to say that his decision in joining the Dube Birds was to bolster the club and help the team return to the PSL top-flight.
“We have one goal and that is to return back to the PSL. I must admit things have not been easy but we are working hard on using what we have and believe that come end of the season we have the desired results,” he said.
Speaking about his feelings against AmaZulu he said he is grown up and he had no point to prove when they met on Saturday.
“I am a professional and so I didn’t go to that match with anything against AmaZulu. I believe that my obligation is to focus at where I am right now and make sure that I deliver.
"We still have many matches ahead so we must focus on the future and find our winning ways,” he said.
