Fallout 4's crafting system is one of game's newest features |
XBOX One news this week includes Metal Gear Solid 5's future update,
Mass Effect 4's Andromeda reveal and some new Fallout 4 news
surrounding Bethesda's top feat.
The company have hinted at what is come in the title's future, telling fans on Twitter: "Today is the one month anniversary of the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
"It's been amazing so far, but there's more to see.
"Thank you for all your continued support and kind words--it's for the fans this game was made and through you it continues to thrive."
New reports also support the idea of more content coming to the game, either through the Phantom Pain or Metal Gear Online DLC.
Quotes attributed to a Konami employee state that the much referred to Chapter 3 place card found by fans can sell the game short and that they should continue playing, as the game is much deeper than many believe.
Metal Gear Solid 5's Online mode launched last week and has already received new DLC costume content.
Metal Gear Solid 5 fans can expect more from the Phantom Pain |
"In honour of "Ask a stupid question day". Any chance of some Mass Effect Andromeda news?" one fan tweeted, before Gamble replied: "I'll have to wait until "give a stupid answer day" to reply."
The reply, as usual with unreleased games, was vague, although it did seem to suggest that N7 day in November would be the setting for a further update.
"Like squirrels do with nuts, we're hoarding them for winter. Is that stupid enough, Mike?," Roy replied.
N7 Day, held on November 7, usually includes fan competitions and the release of new artwork, or side-projects but could also be used to reveal more on what to expect in Fall, 2016.
The new crafting system was one of the biggest bits of Fallout 4 news to come out of E3 and provides you the chance to customise your world.
"The thing I'm most proud of is what I think Fallout is all about for me, I've always believed that Bethesda's games are about the whole being more than the sum of the parts," he said.
"The biggest and most notable addition is the crafting stuff from the world, your ability to do that with weapons and armour, your ability to do that on a world level, being able to build settlements, it's completely optional," Hines added.
"During a recent playtest, I picked up a weapon and that became the one weapon I would use, so I just spent time figuring out what modifications I wanted to make to it and what were the things I wanted to do to it later.
"It becomes something you only intend to do for five minutes and the next thing you know, an hour has gone by because you've been running around building stuff."
Fallout 4's karma system is also set to be revealed soon and will include some more tough choices for fans to chew over when the games launches on November 10.
