Gruesome Mother confesses to killing two of her children, stuffing bodies in freezer

A mother of four who is accused of slaying two of her children and stuffing their bodies in a freezer at their Detroit, Michigan, home screamed during a custody trial on Thursday that she killed them.

Mitchelle Blair, 35, was charged in April with torturing and beating to death her nine-year-old son Stephen Berry in August 2012, before suffocating her daughter, Stoni Blair, 13, the following May.
After killing them, she allegedly dumped her children's bodies in a deep freezer at her house. The victims' frozen bodies were found covered in plastic by officials during an eviction on March 24.
In court on Thursday, Blair started swearing loudly as a five-minute break was declared. As she was escorted out the room, she yelled, "0Everybody wants to know. Yes, I did kill her,' referencing Stoni.
At another point in the hearing, a videotape was played showing one of Blair's surviving two children - an eight-year-old boy - telling a social worker that he had witnessed the killing of his older brother.
In response, Blair yelled that he 'didn't see me kill Stephen, 'cause it was unintentional'.
In the videotape, the young boy also told the social worker that he was whipped with a cord and that his surviving half-sister was hit with a hammer. Both siblings have been placed in a relative's care.
The trial, which is still underway at Wayne County Circuit Court, will determine if Blair loses custody of the two children. The state also wants to end the parental rights of both of their fathers.
The state says the fathers rarely see the kids and owe thousands of dollars in child support.
A judge previously entered a not guilty plea to the charges on Blair's behalf.
In a previous court outburst in April, she screamed at Alexander Dorsey - the father of Stoni and her 17-year-old daughter - saying he was 'never there' for his children and missed their birthdays.
"How many birthdays did you miss?" Blair yelled at him.
Dorsey did not respond to her yelling, sitting with his hands clasped and staring silently ahead.
However, after the hearing, he told the newspaper that he had always wanted to see his two daughters and had tried to develop a relationship with them - but Blair would not let him.
"I don't hate her," he added. "She's the mother of my children."
In court documents, Blair's 17-year-old daughter described a home where she and her surviving brother were beaten with an extension cord and piece of wood, and burned with a hot curling iron.
Medical exams revealed evidence of abuse, including numerous scars, on the surviving children.
Twenty-five scars were found on the back of the eight-year-old boy - who testified against his mom on Thursday - that were consistent with being hit by an extension cord, the Detroit News reported.
Blair's teenage daughter also described how her siblings were killed, according to court papers.
'Blair tortured Stephen for approximately two weeks prior to his death by tying a belt around his neck, throwing hot water on him while in the shower and putting a plastic bag over his head,' the state said, quoting the 17-year-old. On August 30, 2012, Blair allegedly beat to death her son.
After the killing, she wrapped his body in bed linen and put him in the freezer, the state said.
